Fikalab ISEC fosters an environment for experimentation, ideas development and good and healthy fun inside ISEC - Coimbra Engineering Academy.

What we're all about?

The aim is to connect academia to the real world, dreaming up great ideas for ‘things’ and using our initiative to build them – always challenging the status quo. For us, the world can always be better, and we want to play our part in making that so. We want to take action - what about you?

What will you find?

A space for you to experiment with technology.

Whether you already have an idea and want to see it brought to life, or you would like to join one of our ready-made projects - the lab is equipped with everything you need to make it happen. There are baseline rules to help everything run smoothly, but that's it!

To bring a bit of friendly competition to proceedings, every year Fikalab ISEC hosts the Fikalab ISEC Challenge, inviting students to develop the most innovative ideas and prototypes for the chance to win fantastic prizes. Registration open every year.
